Letchworth School

The bi-level gymnasium addition contains a college-level size basketball court designed to hold up to 15,000 guests. The unique arch structure of the library forms a bond with the more common arch structure of the gymnasium to create a cohesive campus design. Connected to the gymnasium is a new fitness center and running track widely used by the public. Natural light illuminates the sports arena. Located in the main entry, the Library is considered the school centerpiece. The Gymnasium, the Library and the fitness center are all designed with separate entryways to allow students to access the school after normal school hours.
